Super Bowl Happiness
Hola all, I just want to express my utter happiness in the outcome of the Super Bowl. Right when I found out that the Ravens were going to be in the game I knew I was going to cheer for them, no matter who they played. I do not really have one team that I follow, but I do follow players such as Clay Matthew's, Troy Palamalou and Ray Lewis, so I was very pleased when one of my guys had made it to this grand event. I know that this post by a girl may not seem "normal", but let me tell you I am anything but normal. I love football, baseball, hockey, and just sports in general. I came to the conclusion that I am the type of girl that can cook in the kitchen with your mom and sit and watch football with your dad. This Super Bowl was so exciting, the game kept me interested and had my heart racing ( that is after the power outage when the 49ers decided to show up). At my house Super Bowl Sunday might as well be a holiday because we basically treat it as one. We invite all the people who are near and dear to our hearts over, we make our best foods and we enjoy others company and some good ol' competition. Let me set the scene for you in my house yesterday, it was my dad, Andrew (my boyfriend), and I going for the Ravens and everyone else which happened to be 13 other people for the 49ers. We have two TV's in the house and one was faster then the other so we had to wait to react to the good parts to not give away what had happened to those in the other room. When the game was all said and done it was very quite in the house but the three of us who were happy with the outcome had nothing but smiles and laughs for those who were not. Needless to say, I am sucker for family Sundays that include football, because I feel like it brings us closer together no matter which team you are cheering for and to me thats all that matters. Hope your Super Bowl was as exciting as mine. Peace, Love and Happiness readers.
Entry #1 Blogs, my in-between view point.
Aloha all, first off I would like to say that I never thought I would find myself blogging, I mean yes I find it interesting but I just didn't think it was for me. I think blogs that are personal are in a way pointless, unless you are close the the person writing the blog who really cares what you're doing for the day. I think if you want people to know about your life you could email them, or write a nice long card for the holidays. I think that business blogs are good for the people who work there and for those who want to work there or know more about the business. People don't want to read something unless they are interested. Other blogs such as travel, food and entertainment I can understand, because people want to know how things are made, where is the best place to travel, and how well a movie rated. For me, I love food, if you can teach me how to make something that I never heard of and can help me make it well, then thank you! You just made me admiration for food that much greater.
When reader some blogs I came across a few that I really enjoyed, one being the whole foods blog (http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/blog/whole-story/) and the next was the Google blog (http://googleblog.blogspot.com). I truly enjoyed the Google blog because it let me know that the things that I have searched are things that many others have searched as well, like things in accordance with the Super Bowl. It brought to my attention things that I rarely hear about like, the carnival in Brazil. The colors in this blog make it very inviting, and its easy and simple just like the Google website. This blog also lets the world know what Google is doing in a business perspective, which is nice because we can hear it from the company without any bias from others . I personally use Google more then I use Bing which is probably why I decided to read it in the first place but, I think that if you want to see Google in a more creative way their blog is the way to do that. They make it fun and entertaining but also very informative.
Out of all the blogs that I looked at there was one in particular that I did not like or understand. That was The Defend our Freedoms Foundation (http://www.orlytaitzesq.com). I do not understand the point of this blog, I get that she does not like Obama but she gives no reasons or explanation as to why she doesn't him. Her blog is very hard to follow, and maybe that is because I am a teen and am still trying to learn all the government lingo, but I don't think that she makes her site very user friendly. If I was a regular follower of her blog I would not want to help he pay for her travel expenses! Its not my job to get her from place to place, especially when she is trying to attack our command and chief. I understand not everyone likes Obama but for the next four years he is our President and if people don't like him then there is nothing that Obama can do right in their eyes so it makes it harder on the President. Blogs to me are fun, creative and entertaining or boring, subjective and bias. Peace, Love and Happiness readers.

Hi all, my name is Mahealani Rowe, but I just go by Mahea (Ma-HEY-a) for short. My name is Hawaiian and it means Golden Moon Child. I am 19 years old and I have a loving, fun, crazy family that I adore. Now, I hope you don't take me for the boring, naive girl who is all about her family cause yes that is true, but I am also very outgoing, I love to make a fool out of myself because I enjoy making people laugh and I know how to have a good time. I grew up in Glendale, Arizona and I have one older brother.I have a boyfriend and his name is Andrew, I think we are great together!
I have gone to private Catholic schools my whole life and I am pretty sure I wouldn't know how to act if I were to go to a public school when I was younger. I went to Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Glendale) and I graduated from Saint Mary's Catholic High School (SM) in 2012. My years at SM have helped mold me into the person I am today. It is a very small school so you get to know who everyone is and make lasting friendships, it was a total shock when I cam e to GCC because it was so big. It was hard for me to not know everyone who went to my school. I am attending GCC because I was awarded the Presidential scholarship, which pays for all of my classes. I never thought I would be here on an academic scholarship, I thought I would be here because of athletics but, now I know that this is were I am suppose to be in life. I want to get my doctorate in Psychology and become a therapist for teens. I love helping people with their problems, I find it very therapeutic for myself and the person I am trying to help. I know GCC will help prepare me for a University and that is where I am going to complete my schooling. I love to cook, bake, listen to music and hangout with friends and family. My family and I are very close because all of the struggles that we have overcome and I can't imagine life without them. Well, that's me, for now. Peace, Love, and Happiness readers.
