Entry #2 Slanted for all to see

Hi all,  I am here today to talk about one particular slanted report that I found more then interesting! Here is the link for it if you want to watch it before I jump right into this! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/09/shep-smith-obama-21st-century-gay-marriage_n_1503849.html To start, I want to say that I really don't like the way that this man is speaking, I feel as though he is being very condescending which makes me not what to watch any other report that this man does. When it comes to gay marriage, I am all for it but if you are a new reporter like this man I am pretty sure that you are not suppose to let people know how you feel about he issue. He is not only trying to break the news to the people that Obama is now for gay marriage but he is also trying to let the public know exactly what is view on this is as well. He also gives away his political party by attacking the Republican's, which is probably gonna cause him to lose viewers. His audience might feel that he has no right to attack this political party, which I completely agree. He should be more conscience because he is not representing himself when he is on TV he is representing a whole  company, and by his actions he could cost them a lot of viewers which in the end costs then a lot of money.
As I looked up more information on this Shep Smith, I found that he has done many thing that make me question if I would ever really want to watch a news report by him. For one, he has clearly stated his opinion here and two he has aired a SUICIDE on television. If suicide isn't already hard enough to talk about he had to go so much further as to air it on TV. He has made Fox news into his own little opinion show and if the producers at this station can't see that yet, they won't be able to until, he has lost all of his viewers and all the respect that the company has gained. When watching the video is clear that he has strong opinions about gay marriage, but I feel as though, when you take the job as head anchorman you know that there is a time and a place for you to voice you thoughts and that is not on national television.
